Journey - Who’s Crying Now
Journey is known for releasing the popular rock song “Don’t Stop Believin” which is a favorite and I usually end up singing it at the top of my lungs but there’s something about this track that invokes the same feeling as “Don’t Stop Believin”. I love the emotion that the song invokes especially the line “two hearts born to run, who’ll be the lonely one?”

Kylie Minogue - Stay This Way
I first heard this track on an Australian movie “Better Than Sex”, I loved the intimacy portrayed in the movie and this song captures it perfectly. It’s almost a plea to never come down from the natural high of experiencing pleasure and a connection with another human being. It also introduced me to a different Kylie Minogue — one that isn’t just churning out pop dance hits.

I thought real hard about which audio to upload today and to open the new blog. I decided on a song that reminded me of Summer ‘09 - a real fun summer filled with new experiences and lots of laughter.
Drake’s “Little Bit”, first heard on his mixtape So Far Gone, which features him spitting on a Lykke Li track is, in my opinion, better than the original and turned into a great duet.
I know it’s a little early but hello, Summer 2010.
